You can create this rack using a bygel wire basket, cutlery caddy, and a bygel rail. Using s-hooks, mount these items on your wall to build one that can contain dishes and silverware. Make sure you place a towel underneath it to catch any water that drips from the dishes.

The Holy Cutting Board

This kitchen hacks will not only save space, but make it easier to cut vegetables, fruits, and other foods. Cut a good-sized hole on one side of the cutting board. When you’re slicing and dicing, you can throw the excess in the hole to free up space.

This way, you don’t have to continuously toss the trimmings into the trash can while you are cutting. Just wait until you have finished, then throw the rest of the trimmings away.

The great thing about this kitchen hack is that you can store the cutting board in a cabinet and only take it out when you need to use it. It’s better and more sanitary to use a wooden cutting board rather than the standard plastic variety.

Hang Your Measuring Spoons And Cups

Pots and pans take up a considerable amount of space in your cabinets, don’t they? Dutch ovens, skillets, and other large pans can become quite a challenge when it comes to storage. Instead of having these items clutter up your cabinets, consider hanging them from the ceiling.

This kitchen hack isn’t too complicated. There is a wide variety of different ceiling racks you can use to store your pots and pans. This will create more space in your cabinets, but it also works stylistically. Pots and pans are great for cooking, but they can also be decorations.

The Mounted Kitchen Tablet

If you’re electronically savvy, you will love this kitchen hacks. If you have a tablet that you don’t use as often, you can mount it on your kitchen wall. A kitchen tablet can serve a variety of purposes. You can watch movies while cooking. You can display the recipe you’re preparing without having to flip through a cookbook. You can listen to music or your favorite podcast.

You can install racks on the inside of your pantry door to store spices and other items. Or, you can install baskets or caddies to store jars and other larger items. These items will no longer clutter up your other storage spaces and make it easier to access them.

Use That Space On The Side Of Your Refrigerator

This kitchen hack takes advantage of an often-overlooked storage opportunity. The space between the side of your refrigerator and the wall can provide a great place to keep additional items.

Typically, this area can offer about 4” to 6” of space that you can use for smaller items. You can actually install a small pantry in this space. In this area, you can store spices and other smaller items.

Get A Hollowed Out Island

If you have an island in the middle of your kitchen, you should be able to use it for storage. Many homes already have islands with cabinets and shelves. However, if you have a solid island, you might consider hollowing it out to provide more storage space.

Installing cabinets on the island is a standard solution. However, you could simply carve out the area for storage shelves. You can store your pots and pans and other utensils there for easy access.

Hanging Mason Jars

If you have shelves in your kitchen, attach the lid of the mason jar under the bottom of the shelf. Drill a small hole in the mason jar lid, then screw it into it.

Install hooks on the sides of your counters and use them to hang cooking utensils, cutting boards, and other items.

If you don’t like the idea of hanging pots and pans from the ceiling, you might consider installing racks. Putting in a rack on one of your walls can still provide the storage solution you need for your pots and pans. Either way, you will be able to free up space in your cabinets and cupboards.
