But if you cook it on the grills it means you can enjoy outside too, enjoying the cool weather and fun of whatever company is with you, while the grilled pizza recipe is being prepared perfectly.

Whichever kind of pizza sauce, pizza crust, and pizza toppings you like, you are free to grill your pizza. I am going to explain you a recipe that will show you the way of making a delicious grilled pizza. The recipe I want to share is enough for more than 3 people, but I would like to suggest that you should make it for no more than two persons if they are very hungry. You are not bound to add the specific vegetables as you are free to add any of them as per you need. Don’t forget to saute some hard vegetables in the oil before you add them into the pizza. Add some soften things such as tomato, mushrooms, and zucchini as they will soften on the grill.

Things that will be needed:

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 jar pizza sauce
  • A half cup of fresh basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 6 oz pepperoni
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 tomato or any other vegetable you wish
  • 2 canned pineapple rings

Switch on the gas connection and preheat the grill on high and leave it for no more than 15 minutes. After that, turn the temperature down and make it to medium. Over the cutting board, splash the flour. Make sure to stretch and then roll the dough into the shape and size you need to see, on the cutting board.

Now spread about half olive oil on the dough and flip it. The rest of oil should be spread on the other side. Take a tray and put the dough on it or use a big piece of sheet to carry to the grill. Now flip it down and upside on the grill and then remove the tray or foil.

Now it’s time to close the grill lid and then the pizza crust should be cooked for about 5 minutes. Move it to the cutting board and make sure to add the sauce to pizza crust. Don’t forget to add the cheese, toppings, and herbs.

If the burners that are being used, are two, switch off one of them and take the pizza back on the grill. The grill should be covered and leave it for about 10 minutes on the burner for cooking. Cooking should be continuous until you see the cheese is melted. Check that the pizza crust has prepared through and browned and cooked on the bottom.

If you notice that the pizza crust is ready and cooked, but the cheese is not liquid yet, move suddenly the pizza to another place or spot on the grill. The completed pizza should be removed by using the baker’s peel or long handled spatulas and then slice it into the wedges and present it to your friends.
